I've had a Bartholin's Cyst that keeps coming back!?

Two years ago, I had a barthilon's cyst, which I had to go to the ER to get lanced, (which is the most terrible pain I think I've ever felt). They packed it, sent me home with antibiotics and pain killers, and my labia returned to normal within two weeks. Well what do you know? - Two years later this sucker came BACK! Well, this time the ER doc lanced it, but did not use the traditional packing - he decided he would use a word catheter (sp) which I could tell he and the nurse had very little experience with. Needless to say, the damn catheter came out the next day. I though everything was fine, until I noticed my labia wasn't going back to it's normal size. It has been 7 months now, and my labia is still not back to normal. It isn't swelling like an abscess like the times before, and it really doesn't bother me, it's just the fact that I'm scared it will start to swell again and that my vagina isn't as pretty as before. WHAT ON EARTH CAN AND SHOULD I DO?!
